Check out my new hair colour!

It's very dark compared to my previous colour but it definitely looks a lot healthier, especially after my favourite privy treatment from Salon Vim that I've been raving on and on about.

The special part of this hair colour is there is actually a slight gradient/ombre to it!
The top is very dark while it slowly gets lighter at the ends. :D

I also chopped off quite an amount of damaged hair!!!

If you're wondering how bad my hair looked...

TAADANG.
This picture is slightly blurry but you can still see the horrible fly-aways, the frizz and how dry my hair is!
I really like bright coloured hair because it compliments my skin tone more but considering that my hair was at that condition....I think my stylist made a wise choice changing it to a darker shade.

My stylist's name is Steve! He's a really nice stylist!!!
You can call up for an appointment at Salon Vim soon and ask for Steve as your stylist~

Felt the urge to do something to my hair the other day so I visited Salon Vim...

I've heard so much about their latest treatment - Privy treatment - and I couldn't wait to try it out!

This is BEFORE.
I think I'm not very good at maintaining my hair lol. Look at the frizz! And I need to touch up my black hair roots!
I doubt you can see it from the picture above but I have almost everything we don't want. Split ends. Damaged hair. Frizziness. T _ T

So, I went ahead to try out their new Privy treatment, and I have to admit, I am so satisfied with the end result!

There are three simple steps for the treatment.

1) GENTLE WASH PRO
To cleanse our scalp and hair and prep it for the next step.

2) ENRICH SERUM
Repairs and nourishes our damaged hair and makes it a lot smoother and easier to manage.

3) HOLD CREAM
Holds up the goodness from the previous step so our smooth and manageable hair will last.

AND THAT'S IT! :D
Super smooth hair in less than 40 mins.

I AM SO IMPRESSED because this is honestly the best treatment I've done on my hair and it did what it should do - TREAT our hair!

Usually after treatments, they will apply this magic oil to tame my frizzy hair.

It's called L'Oreal Mythic Oil - and I swear this is amazing. Salon Vim gave me a bottle of this about 3 months ago and I've been using it so much that half a bottle is gone.

If you think your hair's getting difficult to manage, or you're looking for ways to fix frizzy hair, you should head down to Salon Vim Bugis to try out their latest PRIVY TREATMENT....

...and they are having 30% off hair treatments (Redken cocktail treatment and Privy) !!!!!!

This is exclusively for readers and members so remember to quote my name to receive this special discount!

Call Salon Vim Bugis (6837 0045) to book an appointment now! My stylist is Steve so if you like my hair, you can find Steve. :D

If you haven't already heard of it, HAHA, my new hair sponsor is Salon Vim! :D
And so far, I'm very satisfied with their services!

The other day, I went back to do some touchup for my hair!

I didn't really take good care of my hair for the past few weeks so it became like this...

The colour faded, hair became really frizzy, damaged, and my fringe grew longer and made a fixed ugly parting. O_O

I thought I was balding but my stylist said I wasn't near balding HAHA.
However, I still chose to change my parting a little and cut my hair!

So I coloured, cut, and did an awesome treatment on my hair. :D

They did this REDKEN treatment for me.

It started with two spray treatments, first one to reconstruct my hair, and the second one to balance pH so my hair can absorb more of the goodness from the treatment mask!

They did the "Colour Extend" + "All Soft" + "Extreme"!

The salon was empty the other day. Usually, Salon Vim is really packed!
Call up Salon Vim Bugis: 6837 0073 to book an appointment beforehand!

You can ask for stylist, Steve. He does my hair! If you like any of the hair Salon Vim did for me, you can look for Steve. ^_^

That's my hair after everything!

This colour looks more like how it will look in person.
More to ash/greenish brown!

Thank you for reading! x

Just in case you're not a follower on my twitter/instagram (WHY NOT?!), I have a new hair sponsor!!!
WOOHOO! :D

I'm so excited to share with you my experience at this salon because I have heard so much about them. My friends told me they were absolutely satisfied with their service and recommended me to try them out when I was dying to do something to my hair. Somehow, lady luck was on my side and now Salon Vim's my new sponsor GAHAHAHA.

Thank you for having me!

I went to do my hair on the last day of 2012 and decided to go completely crazy with my hair haha.

That's my old grumpy hair!

Salon Vim's a really busy salon so it will be good if you call them to set an appointment beforehand.

I chose an ash blond series for my base colour. It's the one in the centre!

...And I did highlights on my hair too!

PINK AND PURPLE HIGHLIGHTS.

Wait for it.

TAADANG!!!
Craycray bright pink highlights! I have purple on the inside too. xD

When I say I went crazy with my hair, I mean I went crazy with my hair. LOL.

You can see my purple highlights at the tip from here! It's actually a bunch on the inside.

I went home and everybody got so surprised by my pink highlights HAHA.
I really liked the colour but I decided to go tone it down a bit because I find it difficult to match my clothes lol.

Steve, my hairstylist, was really nice and called up the next day (after I did my pink highlights) to ask if I'm satisfied with the result and if I would like to tone the brightness down! :D
Good service, checked!

So...I got back a week after.

I did treatment after re-dyeing my hair. YES I HAVE SMOOTH HAIR NOW, WANNA TOUCH?

My hair is really dry so they did extreme, all soft and smooth lock on me! You can ask them which treatment fits your hair condition the most. :D

AND LOOK AT MY CURRENT HAIR COLOUR!

NICE OR NOT?!?!
Ash blond with red highlights.

This fits my style more so I prefer this to the previous one!

Salon Vim has an outlet at Somerset 313, but now, they have a newer outlet at Bugis! I did my hair at their bugis outlet.
It's located among the row of shophouses at Bugis Village! Super easy to spot them. :)
