Sponsored post: My first visit to DRx Clinic
Like I mentioned in the previous post, I've made a visit to the dermatologist for my skin.
I've been raging on twitter about my skin recently...
First big problem with my skin is, I REALLY DISLIKE MY FRECKLES!
Most of my friends have been bugging me, telling me how pretty my freckles are, and freckles usually grow on angmohs so that makes me angmoh...
NO.
It's an unavoidable fact that FRECKLES ARE FLAWS to the face. :(
I hate it when people come up to me and tell me "Hey peishi your face got something." then they start rubbing the thing away and I'll be like "Eh it's my freckles.".
I tried many ways to conceal them, even went to most of the expensive cosmetics counters to ask for the best way to conceal my freckles - It can lighten them, but not cover them completely.
You can see them in most of the pictures and no, it's not possible for me to embrace the beauty of freckles. To me, they are flaws.
Another big problem with my skin is the PIMPLES.
Pimples like to grow and start up a huge community on my forehead. I'm lucky to have fringe to cover them so most of you don't get to see them (though my fringe is one of the problems why I get so many pimples on my forehead).
And because of the pimples, I get a lot of pimple scars.
There are also occasional pimples under my lower lip. And then it turns black and I will look weird with that black mark under my lip. :(
Other than that, on normal days, my skin is pretty much alright - Smooth and happy - easy for me to apply makeup and all that. I'm happy with that (other than my freckles + pimples on forehead).
BUT ON CERTAIN DAYS, there will be so many bumps on my face it's impossible for me to apply makeup! *flips table*
:'(
I know my skin isn't THAT bad but it annoys me sometimes, and I know there is definitely a way to solve these problems.
I mean, if I can solve all these problems and get the perfect skin I want, WHY NOT??
So I asked about the price for a visit at the dermatologist on twitter, wanting to visit one as soon as possible.
AND!!!
DRx Clinic approached me so taadang! Now, they are solving my skin problems and I'm on cloud nine hoho.
The other day, I made my first visit to DRx clinic for consultation.
Apparently, we will have to go down to visit the doctor for a consultation and they will prescribe what is needed for our skin!
After that, we'll use the products prescribed to us for a month and see how it goes.
If there are still problems after a month, they will recommend some treatments to be done to our skin - in order to achieve the flawless skin we want.
I've heard many good reviews about DRx clinic so I was more than elated to give them a try.
First, I waited at the waiting area for my consultation.
The doctor that I've consulted is Dr Angela Hwee.
She leaned quite close to me while checking my skin so I managed to look at her skin pretty clearly. HER SKIN IS SO NICE. T _ T
After the consultation, they brought me to the teaching room where there will be a professional to teach us how to use the prescribed products step by step.
After that, we can get our products!! :D
I'm still four days into using the products the doctor has prescribed to me - So far, there are no changes, but it takes about a month so I'll talk about this a month later and hopefully show you the pretty changes!
They told me my skin isn't that bad so they didn't want to provide me with anything too harsh.
Looks pretty scary huh.
If you watched my previous skin care routine video, I only put three things on my face at night. A big change for me but I've heard from people that most Asian ladies put up to 12 products on their face, day and night!! O_O
All their products has abbreviations on them for easy references!
They also provided me with a piece of brochure on the steps of the skin care regime.
Made everything super easy! I don't need the brochure to refer now because I kind of got used to the steps already! :D
After the visit to DRx clinic, they brought me to DRx Medispa too!
The ambience is a lot more different compared to DRx clinic.
The light is orange/yellow so it brings more warmth to the customers.
Glad I learned quite a bit of things while walking around DRx.
I'll come back and tell you how it went after a month in using their products! I'm so excited to see the changes. :D
BYE, thanks for reading! xx

My skin is so bad today :( Can't put any makeup so I'm out with my bare face.
