Here's an update to celebrate new template HAHA *applause*~

Visited Boufe Boutique Cafe before going to a movie premiere for Zootopia the other day with my mama!!!
My mama loves Boufe a lot since the first time I brought her there because of the whole ambience and of course, the food that fills up our tummy really well hahaha.


Decided to bring her to Boufe again for their new Brunch menu!
Super enthu for the new menu 'cause there's my favourite CRAYFISH plus it's in SALTED EGG YOLK SAUCE! Anyway, the new menu started on the 16th and I went right on the 16th hehehe.

Omg, suddenly realised their new brunch menu is filled with the food I love.

All time favourite Truffle Fries! T _ T
They have one of the BEST Truffle Fries. First of all, the truffle scent/taste is really there haha (unlike some other places that I've been to), it is also very very affordable considering the amount they serve!


AND THEN THERE'S MY FAVOURITE CRAYFISH WITH SALTED EGG YOLK SAUCE!!!!
Salted Egg Yolk sauce is so crazy everywhere now, every time I see someone post about Salted Egg Yolk sauce... I just... NEED.
And it's just so so good with the crayfish AND the bread below which is SOAKED in Salted Egg Yolk sauce. T _ T


Also order Scotch Egg Guacamole + their edible flowers which I had a lot of fun trying to eat and snap a lot of photos LOL.
The whole texture of their Scotch Egg is really good, like the outside is crispy and the inside is soft, and then there's this half-watery egg yolk... BAM.

Mouth watering while typing this HAHAHA anyway, both my mom and I were SUPER FULL and satisfied after these.

Boufe is also perfect for OOTDs so must take the chance to snap more photos.



After brunch we went to Shaw Lido for the movie premiere of Zootopia by Disney!!!
I LOVE DISNEY MOVIES, it's like there's almost no bad Disney movies?!

Zootopia was so good, and it was pretty relatable to real life, of how discrimination is being taken, and that we shouldn't see everyone just from the surface.

I love exploring hidden small cafes, settle down, sit back and have a cuppa coffee, don't you?

I can't really find time to do this but this is definitely a secret hobby I have! I love visiting these beautiful cafes.
Unlike everyone else, I don't EXACTLY just sit there and relax....I'll usually take out my camera and snap lots of pictures. xD

Long ago, I've visited this cafe located at Farrer Park called L'etoile. I enjoyed myself there so much I told myself I'll look for another cafe like this soon!

On many popular food blogs, THIS particular cafe was mentioned many times, and it absolutely caught my eyes!


This cafe is called Carpenter and Cook. :D

There are so many art filters available on my camera but I particularly like this art filter called Dramatic Tone on my camera because it works PERFECTLY well with these stunning cakes!!!!

The art filter function on my camera is amazing because it's so easy to use and it can bring out different moods just by using a different filter on the same picture.

I love how it emphasises the colours and details of the cakes. Made them look way too yummy...


There were a huge variety of desserts but the fickle me finally made some orders in the end. :D


This is the pop art filter. This time round, my pastries look a lot sweeter because of the colour enhancement!

I love how easy the Photo Story function on my camera is! Beautiful pictures all captured in a collage within a few clicks! No need for good photo editing skills to get such professional looking montages. :D



Pin-hole effect on my camera to add on to the vintage feel!!!
I find it pretty amusing that my camera can capture such a gorgeous picture. All these art filters are taken using the camera itself so it cuts down photo editing time. Less trouble for a nicely filtered picture - can't wait to transfer all these pictures to my smartphone via WiFi!

I love the Passionfruit Tart so much! Not sure if you like pastries with that citrus sour taste! I don't like my dessert too sweet because I will get bored of them very quickly.

The lemon drizzle cake gives that slight sour taste as well, I LOVE IT!

My sister really liked the muffin~ It has that super strong chocolatey taste so if you're a chocolate lover you have to try that! :D

The coffees are pretty decent. I'm not very picky when it comes to coffee hahaha, actually, they all taste almost the same to me.

The total bill of this high tea came up to $25.


I love how much thought they put into designing their cafe! I hope I can bring all these pretty cups home haha.



Can't stop using the dramatic mode on my camera HAHAHA it really makes everything so much more dramatic and BOOM in your face!!!!

Not so much of a 'Strangers' Reunion' that night at Strangers' Reunion cafe because I get to enjoy a great dinner with the loveliest people that not only me, but you, are familiar with. :)

Thanks to Nuffnang, I had a scrumptious meal at Strangers' Reunion with Rachell and a lot other bloggers! Met some new pretty faces, and they are all really nice!


I was really happy to see this btw!!!


I don't know about you but I like it when people leave my name on things they specially prepared for me haha, makes me feel a little more special!

Aaaaand gorgeous coffee art!! Not a coffee person so this is my very first coffee with pretty coffee art, yippeeee!



Not sure if this is considered an appetiser. It was placed on the table as a snack before the other food arrived.


I'm not a food blogger so I have no idea how to describe food that well xD. All I can say is they were all really good, at least for me!


I like this Egg Net Tempura Soft Shell Crab Burger! The soft shell crab was the best I've ever had, quite juicy even though I didn't dunk any sauce. I thought it will be really dry. :O






MY ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE IS THIS BUTTERMILK WAFFLE!!!!
So damn good I can eat ten of that now HAHAHAHA. *_*
The one in the picture above is with artisan yogurt & fresh fruits! I tried the one with vanilla ice cream and it was just as good! T _ T

The waffles are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The yogurt/ice cream + waffle are like MATCH-MADE IN HEAVEN.

CAN I PLEASE HAVE ONE NOW? PLEASE?!

The people at Strangers' Reunion were very hospitable and they even prepared homemade jams for us to bring home! ^_^


I got the Red Wine Wild Blackberry Jam!


I just tried it this morning with white bread and it was gooooood. Also, bread + homemade jam = SUPER HEALTHY. 




Had super light makeup on that day for dinner! ^_^
I WORE SNEAKERS HAHA and everyone was SOOOO TALL. O_O

Nonetheless, I had a great night meeting all the pretty bloggers~

No crowd, no noises - Exactly what I've been yearning for.

Visited this place that is inspired by the indie cafes in Japan.

It's located near Farrer Park MRT station. About 5 minutes walk from there!



I think they used to open only on certain days but now, they are open daily.

We got up to the second floor because there were more seats upstairs.


Super comfortable place to be in. Lovely place to just sit down and chill a bit.


Sat there the entire evening with my bestie and talked about everything.


They have hand-writtened menus!! Amazing enough. I wouldn't be THAT patient to draw everything out.

One thing I dislike is that I have to picture how the food looks like in life, since there are no actual pictures of the food on the menu.
I'll definitely prefer seeing pictures of their food on the menu instead. :(

Their coffees are about $4 and above.


I ordered Macchiato to perk me up a little. I woke up at 5am that day for school!


Macchiato is actually espresso + milk :D It was pretty good. That small cup kept me awake up till now O_O

Smoked Duck Sandwich - $13.90
MEH. HAHAHA.
It's not very good. I was expecting something a little more unique.




Pan Seared Dory - $16.90
I tried a bit of this and I find the fish REALLY tender. Yum :D
